VC Ranked In Top 20 Of Top 1,000 Scientists In Ghana
On behalf of the University Council, Management, Faculty and staff, we wish to congratulate our VC, Prof. Emmanuel Ohene Afoakwa and Pro-VC, Prof. Robert Ebo Hinson who have been ranked 18th and 19th respectively in the recently released rankings of the top 1,000 scientists in Ghana.
The ranking system, which is conducted by Alper-Doger Scientific Index (AD Scientific Index), is a system that analyses the scientific performance and the added value of the scientific productivity of individual scientists. It also provides rankings of institutions based on scientific characteristics of affiliated scientists. see link here
This achievement does not only glorify the two but the University as a whole. We hope this will challenge and inspire the University Community, especially Faculty, to emulate their efforts and aspire for individual as well as collective excellence.
